Well I bet all of you had fun in the snow with your families. My cats Pumpkin and Merlin enjoyed it too. Merlin wasn't so sure at first.

Wider curriculum remote learning

Core curriculum

Daily expectations:

Reading- Login to Active Learn to access your levelled reading books. Read at least 5 times a week, and remember to answer the 'bug' question.  When you come across a word or words that you do not know write them down on a piece of paper (postit). Then when you have finished reading or at a later time find the dictionary definition for these words and write these at the back of your textbook, so you are building a bank of words that you can use in your writing. Adults if you use the coloured sheet I gave you it will help to ask the children different types of questions related to their book.  This will help their comprehension knowledge.

Bedrock- Your child will learn new words by undertaking these activities.

SPaG- A text with login details for will be sent shortly.

Spellings- Practise the weekly spellings and ask your adult to test you the following Monday.

English and Math tasks will be uploaded daily, click on the day and then the subject to find the tasks.

Please email the class page with your work, so I can provide helpful feedback and show the children attending school examples of your remote learning.

Remember to have fun whilst you learn. If you need a break, do some exercise, then come back to your learning.
