Harthill Primary School

‘A school at the heart of its village’

8/2/21

Well...Y6, you have made it to the last week of this half term and we want you to know how proud of each and every one of you we are. You have all demonstrated a mature Y6 learning attitude in difficult circumstances. Only one more week of perseverance, effort and resilience to go until a well-deserved rest :-)

Don't forget, when you are unsure about anything or have any questions please email our class email account y6@harthill.jmat.org.uk and we will get back to you as soon as we can.  In the meantime, move on to the next lesson while you wait for a response. If you are able to, try to send your work to the class email each day; we are able to give feedback that will help towards the next lesson when we see things daily.  We are looking forward to continuing to hear from all of you.

Expectations for recording your learning:

  • Write, and underline, your date and the lesson name at the top of the page

 E.g., Monday 8th February 2021

  • Use a black pen for writing.
  • Use a pencil for Maths, any drawings, underlining and crossing out.
  • Use a ruler for underlining and crossing out.

  • Use Active Learn: I would like you to read every day and record it in your Learning Log please. I have put some new books on your Bug Club; take a look at these and I will add some more if you need them. Remember, your reading will still count to this half term’s reading challenge!
  • Log on to Bedrock twice a week and complete at least two lessons.
  • Log on to Times Table Rockstars Mon-Fri for 10-15 minutes.
  • Practise your spellings daily.
