English
Listen to Billy's Bucket story on Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJOszyHKjMk) All of this week's activities will be linked to it.
Activity 1:
1) Write a sentence/few sentences of what you would like for your birthday. If it has recently been your birthday, write a sentence/few sentences about what you received. Remember capital letters and full stops. Top tip- think of your sentence, say your sentence, write your sentence, then check it.
Activity 2:
2) Draw a bucket or print out the one below. Write a sentence/a few sentences about what you can see in your bucket e.g. I can see a whale singing.
Activity 3:
Match the adjectives to the noun. An adjective is a word that describes a noun e.g. small. A noun is a word that names a place, a person, a thing or an idea e.g. chair. An adjective gives more information about the noun e.g. a small chair.
Print out/write the words below and play a matching card game with the adjectives and nouns below. Match the noun to the correct adjective. Make some more matching pairs of your own from things in your house e.g door and red.
