How to help your child at home
- Read! For children to develop a love of reading they first need to develop a love of books through being read to. Discover your child's favourite authors, reread favourite books from your childhood, find new authors together, read comics, information books, newspapers, the list is endless.
- Research our half termly topic. The curriculum newsletter below has information about what we will be learning in school. Use the internet, books, the Library or ask questions to friends and family for research.
- Home learning - children will be given home learning in either Maths, Literacy or Topic work every Friday which will be due in the following Wednesday. The purpose of this is to continue and share learning at home. Although children should be encouraged to do the 'thinking' themselves, it is a brilliant opportunity to learn together
