During the first text the children will be bringing home our very own star.  This will be their friend.  Please send photographs to the school office email which we will print off and display in class.

Longitudinal Learning

 

In our afternoon sessions, we will be gaining skills and knowledge in all areas of the curriculum.

 

Science: we will be learning about our body and our senses.

History: we will be looking at space exploration focusing on famous explorers Tim Peake and Neil Armstrong.   We will be writing stories,  letters and lists of items we would take into space.

Art: we will be looking at two artist, firstly Barbara Hepworth and then Pete McKee. We will make artwork in the style of these artist. 

Geography: learning will involve looking at Harthill and contrasting our village to the Sheffield. 

PE: ball skills in order to begin playing ball games.
