As well as our focus text, we have several 'must reads' that we can get stuck into. Why don't you challenge yourself to read all of them this half term? Recommend your favourite to peers, share you thoughts with us or other members of staff in school and read books by the same authors (local libraries will locate and order the books if they don't have them in).

Surrealism Artwork inspired by Salvador Dali

Within Art, this half term, Y6 have been studying Cubism and Surrealism. In weeks 5 and 6, we explored the artwork of Surrealist artist, Salvador Dali. We used his piece 'The persistence of memory' (as well as others) to practise creating our own artwork in his style. Watch this space for our final pieces!
