27th April 2020
Hi Year 5,
We hope you have had a lovely weekend with your families. Thank you so much for all the photographs you sent us last week. It was great to see you all, we all miss you very much. You all seem to be keeping busy. Ethan looked like he was having fun washing the car and is being kept busy caring for the pheasant's egg. James seemed very happy with his book and Nate's brownies looked delicious. We have enjoyed reading Heidi's biography about Dr Jane Goodall, Nate's superhero story (part 1) and Oliver's flashback narrative. Henry's story boards created using lego characters are amazing and we are looking forward to reading the work he produces from this. You have started to make some lovely artwork linked to the Mayan civilisation, some of the masks are particularly scary.
If you have any questions please email us. We are adding more activities to the home learning resources here if you want to take a look.
Please keep sending the photos we really do love to see you all.
Have a good week everyone,
The Y5 Team :)

We hope you are all well and enjoying spending time with your families. As you may know we now have an email address where you can contact us to ask any questions about work we have set or to send us pictures of what you have been up to. We are looking forward to seeing what you have been doing.
For any of you who need/want more maths activities there is a powerpoint below explaining all about percentages. There are also some maths activities linked to this. Have a go and see how you get on. You were all fantastic with fractions so you should find percentages fairly easy too. If you have any questions send us an email and we will help you out.
Have a good week and stay safe,
The year 5 team :)
