British Values

Our School Values of Belonging, Ambition, Resilience and Kindness are linked closely to the British Values of:

  • Democracy

  • Individual Liberty

  • Rule of Law

  • Tolerance

  • Mutual Respect

We promote these values through the conversations we have and the ethos we have built, through curriculum teaching and through weekly assemblies.

In KS2, we regularly discuss the Protected Characteristics, as part of our learning about values and British Values:

  • age

  • disability

  • race

  • religion or belief

  • sex/gender

  • sexual orientation (UKS2 only)
