Community Involvement
"A school at the heart of its community."
At Harthill Primary School, our school motto is incredibly important to us and we believe strongly in our children being actively involved in our community to support their personal development in becoming well-rounded individuals. We are actively involved in village events such as the Carnival, Well Dressings, Open Garden event and Fruit, Vegetable and Flower Show. Our school choir, Little Village Voices, perform at events throughout the year in and around the local area and often perform with the village choir, Harthill Voices.

We are always keen for members of the community to be involved in school so, if you would like to get involved, please get in touch!

Carnival
Harthill Carnival is the highlight event of the year for many in the community and our school float has been a winner on many occasions!

Well Dressings
There are two Well Dressing events in the Harthill calendar, which our children enjoy taking part in. The children are often involved with the Well Dressing committee in creating the Well Dressing, our children attend the event and our choir perform.

Choir
Little Village Voices regularly perform at local events such as Well Dressings, Wales High School Christmas Fayre, the village choir showcases and many more! They are a joy to watch and we highly recommend anyone in the community comes to see their next show.

Church Services
Several times a year, we attend church as a school and welcome our families to help us celebrate.

Charity Events
Every year, one of our classes organises the MacMillan Coffee morning alongside Harthill WI and this year it was the turn of Willow class.

Gardening Events
Our school gardening club is one of our most popular extra-curricular clubs which Mrs Morley runs along with village volunteers. We take part in the Harthill Open Garden event and show our produce at the Fruit, Vegetable and Flower show every year.
