Art Attack!

We've been channeling our inner Piet Mondrian to create artwork inspired by his style, using his painting 'Trafalgar Sqaure'. We discussed Mondrian's use of primary colours and bold vertical and horizontal lines to create shapes, and then thought carefully about selecting the right size of paintbrush when painting our own versions.

We spoke about how his abstract art makes us feel and agreed it was colourful and bright, but we couldn't quite see how his painting looks like Trafalgar Square.
