We have had lots of fun measuring.

The children were encouraged to explore objects used throughout their daily routines using the language of length, height, weight and time to describe and compare them. We all loved sharing some great books to support our work. Special favorites were Super-worm by Julia Donaldson, Tall by Jez Alborough and Jack and the beanstalk, which inspired us to make our own beanstalks and compare length.
