Welcome to our garden!

This was a brilliant whole class project to and get our garden area up and running. The children loved weeding, filling, raking and planting. We read our class must read, The Extraordinary Gardener and the children were full of knowledge about the different parts of a flower and what plants need to grow.

We are now growing tomatoes, beetroot, carrots, lettuce , cucumbers and peas. We are also very excited about our strawberry and raspberry bushes and our pansies are in full bloom.
